Budget
Stonemark uses Expedition™, a construction management database and cost management system to track all documents and costs from initial budget through project completion. Our system consolidates and tracks all construction related documents, including requests for information (RFIs), bulletins, field orders, change order requests and change orders. These are automatically correlated through our change management system to cost codes and the project cost report allowing for real-time tracking of cost impacts.

Cost Estimate
Stonemark views cost estimating as part of a total cost management effort. Our breakdown of costs is detailed and organized so that each discrete cost item is clearly identified. This allows us to target areas of discretionary spending, giving the Client and Architect better visibility and control over construction costs, and a template to manage the budget for the entire project.

Schedule
Stonemark provides critical-path-method schedules that identify conflicts and constraints that can impact project costs. We focus on easily missed schedule impacts such as long-lead delivery items and submittal review periods. In this way we can resolve potential conflicts in advance and expedite the schedule. Constructability Review
Stonemark’s document and constructability review is performed by our own licensed engineers and experts. We review all design documents including the soils report, drawings, specifications, and engineering for constructability and maintainability. We look at site conditions, materials, compatibility, availability and cost efficiency. Our technical analysis is respectfully communicated with project designers in a true partnering approach, working together to create a more successful project for all stakeholders.

Procurement Contracting Services
In the bid phase, Stonemark establishes precise contract controls, scope of work definitions and performance requirements for prime contractors. We identify highly qualified contractors and provide them with defined bid packages that allow us to compare their bids on an apples-to-apples basis. Stonemark analyzes the bids and make recommendations for contract award. We verify that all bids have complied with the scope of work and all legal, insurance and technical requirements of the contract.
