Stonemark performed a complex-wide decking evaluation for this 91-unit condominium complex in Thousand Oaks. Because the first floor and common area wooden decking, walkways, stairs, landings and railings required ever-increasing maintenance, the Board requested, and Stonemark recommended, alternate strategies for repair and/or replacement. We are currently performing preconstruction services for a composite decking replacement and wood renewal combination. The benefits of this approach allow for complete inspection and economical repair and painting of substructure, installation of new low maintenance material, and reductions in future reserve contributions for deck maintenance.
