I worked with Stonemark Construction Management on a remodel project that involved foundation, framing, waterproofing & plaster repair, new doors, stairs, awnings, & lighting on a very large industrial building. I was able to perform my design work and minimal construction observation, while Stonemark took on the less attractive (for me) duties of monitoring technical quality & financial issues of the general contractor's work. Therefore, I was able to maintain a comfortable working relationship with the contractor, while Stonemark had the more difficult job of pushing the schedule & questioning change orders. Stonemark also provided oversight and rejected work on technical items that I did not feel qualified to judge. With Stonemark onboard, projects go much more smoothly and I appreciate the liability benefits and protections.
