Stonemark's Principals have managed major commercial construction projects up to $300 million in value for a single project throughout the US for over 35 years. Our portfolio includes the high-profile historic restorations of the Reagan Ranch Museum & Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Santa Barbara. Stonemark analyzes the unique variables of each project to accelerate the delivery of the completed project within budget and quality parameters. This allows our Clients to focus on their own core business activity. We lead new projects from entitlement and constructability analysis through completion of construction.
I worked with Stonemark Construction Management on a remodel project that involved foundation, framing, waterproofing & plaster repair, new doors, stairs, awnings, & lighting on a very large industrial building. I was able to perform my design work and minimal construction observation, while Stonemark took on the less attractive (for me) duties of monitoring technical quality & financial issues of the general contractor's work. Therefore, I was able to maintain a comfortable working relationship with the contractor, while Stonemark had the more difficult job of pushing the schedule & questioning change orders. Stonemark also provided oversight and rejected work on technical items that I did not feel qualified to judge. With Stonemark onboard, projects go much more smoothly and I appreciate the liability benefits and protections.
